ワシントン州から日本へ戻ってきました。

空港には日本のロータリアンの方々、担任の先生、家族が迎えに来てくれました。とても喜びながらも日本にいることが変な感じでした。でももちろんすぐに日本の生活に慣れました。私は日本でもいい時間を過ごし、日本食を食べることを楽しんでいます。

日本とアメリカのロータリークラブのみなさんにはお礼の気持ちでいっぱいです。

アメリカでの出来事を思い出すと、私のホストファミリーやロータリーの方々、学校の先生方など本当にたくさんの方々にお世話になりました。そしてたくさんの事に挑戦することができました。マーチングバンドに入ったり陸上のチームに入りました。将来またするかは分かりませんが、アメリカで新しいことに挑戦できたことは私にとってとても良いことでした。

それから私はホストファミリーや色々な国からの交換留学生と旅行で、アメリカやカナダの様々な場所に行きました。とても広い国なので、１つの国の中だけでも様々な面を見ることができました。

私はアメリカでとてもいい経験ができました。これから外国に行く交換派遣生にもそれぞれの国でいい時間を過ごし、素晴らしい経験をしてきてもらいたいです！！

最後にみなさん、このような機会を与えてくださり本当にありがとうございました。

I came back to Japan from Washington.

I was met at the airport by Japanese Rotarian, my homeroom teacher and my family. I was so happy and also felt kind of weird to being in Japan. But of course I got used to living in Japan quickly. I have had a good time here, and I'm enjoying Japanese food.

I cannot thank both of rotarian people, Japan and America enough.

I retrace past events in America. I was helped by so many people such as my host families, Rotarian people and some school teachers. I think I could try many things over there. I joined the marching band and track team. I don't if I'll try them in future again, but it was really good for me to try some new things in America.

I enjoyed some trips with my host families and other exchange students who were from all over the world. I went to many places in America and Canada. Because those countries are huge, I saw many faces in just one country.

I really had good experienses and I want next exchange students who are going to other countries to have a good time and great experiences.

Lastly, I want to thank all of you for giving me a great opportunity.

先週末に公園で(ロータリーの)戦没者追悼記念日の朝食がありました。オーストラリアからのロータリーの方々も滞在されていたので、ホットケーキ朝食の他にもピクニックや、スポケーンのショートツアーをしたり、アイダホにある湖へ行ったり、とてもいい時間を過ごすことができました。

We had Memorial Day's Breakfast which was for Rotary at the park last weekend. At that time, Rotarian from Australia visited, so we had a good time with them. We also had a picnic, went on the short tour at Spokane, and we went to the lake in Idaho with them.

ロータリークラブの派遣生と１０日間のバスツアーと地区会議に参加し、先週末にトライシティーから戻ってきたところです。同じ地区の派遣生で集まる最後の機会で、とてもいい時間を過ごすことができました。
初日はカナダのグランドフォークスで集まり、ツアーが始まりました。バスツアーでは毎日違う場所に行き、集まった派遣生のそれぞれのホストロータリークラブのある地区に行くことができました。公園やプールや博物館へ行ったり、ゲームをしたり、毎晩違う場所に泊まり、夜遅くまで起きていたり、ハードなツアーでした。それぞれのロータリークラブの方々が用意してくださったバーべキューなどの食事も楽しみの一つでした。
We had a bus tour and District Conference with other Rotary exchange students for ten days. I've just come back from Tri-cities, Washington last weekend. It was the last time that all of Rotary exchange students in the same district got together. We had a really good time.

First day, we got together at Grand Forks,Canada. The tour started from there!! While the bus tour we went to different places every single days, we went to every Rotary district the exchange students who gathered at the tour, are hosted. We went to parks, pools, museums, played games, stayed at difference places and stayed up late... it was a quite hard tour. And they also prepared big dinner for us such as a barbecue, it was one of the most fun staff on the tour.

トライシティーに着いてからはフラッグセレモニーとタレントショーがありました。私は日本ではなく、エジプトの国旗を持ちました。タレントショーではもう一人の日本人の派遣生と盆踊りをしました。アジアの派遣生の中には伝統的な踊りや歌を披露している人もいて、とても興味深いものでした。ツアーの最終日の夜には派遣生全員で夜を過ごすことができ、朝の４時頃まで起きていました。次の日の朝、ブランチを食べた後、派遣生みんなと別れる時間がやってきました。それぞれにハグをしたり、写真を撮ったり、別れを告げ…とても悲しい時間でしたが、ツアーで派遣生たちみんなのことをより知ることができ、また近づくことができたと思います。そしてまたいつか全員と会える機会が持てるのではないか…と思っています。

When we got to Tri-cities, we had a flag ceremony and a talent show. I was carrying Egypt flag instead of Japanese, and we did the Bon-dancing with another girl from Japan at the talent show. Some of Asian exchange students did traditional dancing and singing, those were very interesting. Last day of the tour, we were so glad to be able to stay together at night. I think I stayed up untill 4:oo in the morning... Next day we had brunch, and after that we had to leave there. Everybody huged, took pictures and said see you to each person... It was really sad. But we could know more about each other and be close to them through this tour, and we might get together someday again!!

ホストマザーとワシントンDCに６日間旅行に行きました。飛行機から国会議事堂とワシントン記念碑が見えた時にはとても興奮していました。ワシントンDCには印象深いものがたくさんありました。ホワイトハウスや国会議事堂、記念碑や博物館などたくさん有名なものを見ることができました。ホワイトハウスの中までも見学することができました。DCにいる間ほぼ毎日地下鉄を使いました。アメリカでの初めての電車でした。
ワシントンDCは想像と少し違い、とても歴史のある、広々した場所だという印象を受けました。それが私が素敵だと思ったDCの雰囲気を作っているのだと思います。
夜のツアーでは前に書いたような場所にバスに乗って行きました。たくさんの明かりのあるワシントンDCが見られたのはとてもよかったです。他の日には暗くなる前にも同じ場所に行くことができ、ワシントンDCの２つの顔が見られたようでした。
I went to Washigton D.C. with my host mother for six days. I saw the Capitol building and Washington monument from the airplane, I was really excited at that time. There were so many things which I was impressed with, in Washington D.C.. I could see lots of famous things such as White House, Capitol building, the memorial and museum things. We even could get into White House!! We used the metro almost every day we were there. It was the first time I used trains in the United State.
Washigton D.C. was little different than where I imagined it. Now, after I came back from D.C. , I thought D.C. was historic (full with the history)and spacious. Probably, those make the atmosphere of D.C. which I thought nice.

One day, we took the night tour that we went around D.C. by the bus. We saw things I told you before, it was nice to see all the lights on. We also saw those things before it's dark the other day. It seemed like I saw two different faces of D.C..

１日少し長めの散歩をしたときには、ワシントン記念碑の近くの池で鷺を見ました。その記念碑のあるところにも行きましたが、記念碑はとても大きく、その周りには50旗のアメリカの国旗が並んでいました。
We took a kind of long walk oneday. We saw a heron on the pond, close to Washington monument. We also went to the place where the monument is, it was huge and fifty American flags lined up around it.

↑アメリカ国会議事堂の標識のようなものを見つけたので、それと議事堂の前で写真を撮りました。(風の強い日でした。)　写真の議事堂の反対側にも行きましたが、前に芝生が広がっていてとてもきれいでした。

I got the U.S. Capitol sign and took a picture with it in front of the Capitol. (It was a windy day.) I went to the other side of the Capitol (of the picture), green grass expanded in front of the Capitol, which was very nice.

↑国会図書館はとても素敵なところでした。図書館の中にはステンドグラスの天井があったり、壁にはとてもきれいな絵がたくさん描かれていました。

Liberary of Congress was a really neat place to go see. Inside of the library is very beautiful. The ceiling is a stained glass, and all walls are painted with nice pictures.

またワシントンDCにはたくさんの記念碑がありました。第二次世界大戦やベトナム戦争、朝鮮戦争、硫黄島記念碑などを見ました。記念碑には戦争で亡くなられた方々の名前がたくさん刻まれていました。
They also had many war's memorials in Washington D.C.. We went to see World War ⅡMemorial, the Vitnam War Memorial, Korean War Memorial, Iwo Jima Memorial and so on. Many names of the people who died by the war, were chipped on the memorials.

ワシントンDCは今まで行ったことのない、とても興味深い場所で、とてもいい経験ができました。

I had a really nice experience in Washington D.C, which was the place I had never been before, and it was very interesting.

今日の放課後、外に出て澄んだ青い空に少し驚きました。昨日は雪が降っていたり、今朝の空は灰色だったからです。思わず写真を撮ってしまいました。春の訪れの証しでしょうか。

I was kind of surprised at the clear blue sky outside after school because I saw the gray sky this morning and it was snowing yesterday. I took some pictures outside, unconsciously. The sky is telling us "Spring is coming!!" isn't it??I hope so...

学校の真冬休みにホストファミリーとホストファザーのお兄さんとお兄さんの奥さんに会うためにカリフォルニアにあるパームデザート(PALM DERT)に行きました。とても暖かいところで、夏のような暖かさに私たちみんなとても喜んでいました。パームデザートはたくさんの木や花がありました。グレープフルーツの木を見つけ、もぎ取り食べました。甘くてとても美味しかったです。今まで見たことのないくらいたくさんのヤシの木を見ることができ、とても楽しかったです。ホストマザーと公園に行ったときには、なかなか見ることのできない鳥であるミチバシリ(写真を載せています。)やウサギやたくさんのアヒルを見つけました。そこは素敵な大きな公園で、とても楽しみました。てっぺんに雪が積もっている大きな山があったり、滞在している間毎日いい天気でどこを見渡しても素敵な景色を見ることができました。ホストファザーのお兄さんも奥さんもとても親切にしてくださり、今まで行った中で一番素晴らしい旅行の１つになりました。
I went to PALM DESERT, California to see my host father's brother and his wife with my host parents for the school's midwinter break. It was very warm down there, We were so glad to get the warm which was like summer. There were many kind of trees and flowers. We found some grapefruits' trees, we picked up some grapefruits and ate them. Those were sweet and very good. We saw lots of palm trees there. I have never seen such a lots of palm trees before. I enjoyed seeing those very much. One day of the trip I went to the park with my host mother. We found a road runner, which is a rare bird, a rabbit and lots of ducks. It was a nice and big park. I enjoyed it so much. There were beautiful views everywhere I could see in the place we went to, because of some huge mountains whose tops were covered with snow, and a nice weather every day we stayed. My host father's brother and his wife were really kind to me, it was one of the most wonderful trips I have ever been.

パスポートとともにカナダのロスランド(Rossland)へロータリーのスキー旅行に行きました。ロスランドまでは車で三時間半ほどかかりました。昨年の夏会って以来私と同じ地区の派遣生には一度も会っていなかったので彼女たちと久しぶりに会うことができとても楽しかったです。二日間教会に泊まり、土曜日と日曜日にスキーをしました。ロスランドはモミの木がたくさんあり、木には雪が積もっていてとてもきれいでした。二日間それぞれ一時間ずつスキーレッスンを受けました。土曜日はスキーの後、プールに行き、夕食を食べ、ゲームをして、忙しい一日でしたが、とても楽しかったです。ホストファミリーのお家へ戻ってからはとても疲れていましたが、私にとって初めてのカナダ旅行をとても楽しむことができました。

I went skiing in Rossland, Canada, which was for the Rotary tour, with my possport. It took us about three and half an hour to get there by the car. I haven't seen exchange students who are in the same district as mine, since last summer(It was the first time I met them. ), so it was lots of fun for me to see them again. We stayed at the church for two nights, and skied on Saturday and Sunday. There were many fir trees in Rossland, and the tree were covered with snow, it was so nice looking. We took a ski lesson for an hour each days. On Saturday we went to pool, dinner and played some games after skiing. It was a busy day, but very fun. After I came back to host family's house, I was so tired. However I enjoyed my first trip to Canada, very much.

This is today's lunch. This salad was put spinach and dried fruits. I took a picture of this because it looked pretty.

今人気の映画”アバター”を観にホストファザー、マザーと映画館に行きました。3D版を観ました。思っていたよりも感動的な映画で、私たちみんなとても楽しむことができました。
I went to the movie theater to watch "AVATER" which is a very hot movie now, with my host family. We watched the 3D version. It was more impressive than I thought. All of us enjoyed it.

今日は夕食にカレーを作りました。ホストファザー、マザーが気に入ってくださるかとても心配していましたが、気に入ってくださったようでとても嬉しかったです。また作る予定です。
I cooked curry for dinner tonight. I was really worried if my host parents like it.

But they seemed to have liked it, I was so glad. I am going to make curry the other day again.

完成。The completion!!

今夜、宿題にずいぶん時間をかけ、それが完成しました。その宿題とは美術の課題です。見た目がチョークのようなパステルというものを使って描きました。パステルで手やどこでもすぐに汚されるので使うのは少し大変ですが、とても楽しむことができました。

I spent quite much time to do my homework and it was done tonight. The homework was the art project. I used some pastels which look like chalks for this project. The pastels make hands and everywhere dirty easily, so it was little bit hard to use those. But I really enjoyed it.

ホストファミリーの方々にビジネスミーティングのディナーに連れて行っていただきました。そこで経済についてのお話を伺いました。私にとって理解するのは簡単ではありませんでしたが、興味深いものでした。OECD(経済開発機構)の見積もりの中でアメリカといくつかの国が比較されていましたが、日本が最も低い失業率に最も高いGDP(国内総生産)だったことが少し嬉しかったです。

My host family took me to dinner for the business meeting at the hotel. We learned about the economy. It was not easy for me to understand, however it was interesting. They compared some countries with America about the economy from OECD(Organization for Economic Co-operation and Development) estimate. I was actually little glad that Japan has the lowest unemployment rate and the highest GDP.

ホストマザーとスポケーンにフィギュアスケートを見に行きました。ペアとレディーの演技を見ました。テレビ以外でスケートを見たことがなかったので、目の前の氷とダンスをする人たちを見るのは感動的でした。演技も衣装もとても素敵でした。

I went to see the figure skating in Spokane with my host mother. We saw "pair" and "lady". I have never seen the skating except on TV before, so it was so imotional for me to see ice and people dancing in front of us. The dances and also the costumes were so nice.

ホストマザーとホストマザーの友人の方々と仕事の旅行でオレゴンに行きました。2008-2009年度の日本への派遣生だったセーラにも会うことができ、セーラのお家に2日間泊まらせていただき、セーラのご両親にお家の周りやポートランドに連れて行っていただきました。ダンスパーティーに行ったり、(初めてアメリカの)スターバックスに行ったり、アジアのお店に行ったり、大きな書店に行ったりしました。とても楽しかったです。また、セーラに会い、話せたことがとても嬉しかったです。オレゴンへは車で８時間かけ、６人で行きました。行き帰りに車から景色を見るのはとても楽しかったです。鷲を見つけたり、山や滝やたくさんの風車を見て、写真を撮ったりしました。素晴らしい景色を楽しみました。オレゴンでもまた新しい経験ができました。

I went to Oregon with my host mother and her friends for her business trip. I actually met Sarah (who was an exchange student, she went to Japan in 2008-2009) and stayed with her family for two days. Sarah's parents took me to around their house and portland, Oregon. We went to the dance party, Starbucks(which was the first time to go to Starbucks in America), the Asian store, the big book store and so on. It was so much fun to go there and I was very glad to see Sarah and talk to her. We went to Oregon by car for about 8 hours, and the car picked 6 people to Oregon. It was very interesting for me to see the nice views from the car in our way to Oregon and come back to Washington. We saw the eagles, the mountains, the waterfalls and many windmills and took pictures. Those view were amazing and I enjoyed it. I had another new experiences in Oregon.

今日はロータリークラブの集会で日本についてのプレゼンテーションをしました。兵庫(また神戸、西宮、姫路)や私の日本とアメリカでの生活について話しました。今日のために学校でパワーポイントを作りました。私の英語を理解していただけるだろうかと心配していました。みなさん楽しんでくださっていたら嬉しいです。たくさんの方々の前で英語で話すのは緊張したので、プレゼンテーションが無事終わり今とてもほっとしているところです。そして日本についてもっともっと知りたい、と思いました。
I did a presentation about Japan at the Rotary meeting today. I was talking about Hyogo (and each city; Kobe, Nishinomiya and Himeji) and my life in Japan and America. I made a powerpoint for today at school. I worried if all people who were in the meeting,will understand my English. I will be glad if they enjoyed it. I was nervous talking in front of many people in English. Now I finished my presentation without incident, I am feeling so good. And also I am thinking I want to know more and more about Japan.

バス停から(From my bus stop)

今日は学校で「監禁訓練」というものをしました。誰かが銃や薬物を学校へ持ち込んだことを想定し、自分たちの身を守る訓練です。すべての教室の鍵を閉め、すべての電気を消し、しばらくの間先生と他の生徒たちと床に黙って座っていました。日本ではこの訓練はしないので、私にとって初めての訓練でした。

それから学校では授業、クラブメンバーなどでの写真を一日中かけて撮っていました。私は２種類の写真を撮っていただきました。ひとつはバンドクラスでの写真で、もうひとつは留学生グループでの写真です。

では少し私の普段の学校生活について書きたいと思います。学校へは私のホストマザーがスクールバスのバス停まで車で送ってくださりそこからはバスで通っています。学校では授業と授業の間の休み時間がたった５分しかないので初めは慌てていましたが、今はかなり慣れたと思います。１日６つの授業を取っています。美術の授業ではパステル(乾性絵具)で向日葵を描いていますが、それも仕上がりに近づいてきています。教室にあるたくさんの絵は興味深いものばかりです。フットボールに変わり、放課後のバスケットボールの試合も始まったので、私たちバンドメンバー演奏の出番も再びやってきました。学校の前学期ももうすぐ終わります。

We did the lockdown drill, whose purpose is to guard ourselves from someone who bring guns or bad drugs into the school, in school today. We locked the keys to all classes, turned off all lights, sat on the flor and be quiet with teachers and other students for a while. We don't do it in Japan, so it was the first time I did it. And also we took some pictures as the member of classes, clubs and so on. It took us all-day to finish taking the pictures. I took two kinds of pictures. One was a band class picture, the other one was exchange students picture.

Now, I would like to write about my usual school life. My host mother takes me to the school bus stop by car and I go to school on the bus. We have just five minuts between the class and another class. So I used to kind of panic after the class finish because I have to go to my locker and move to the next class room in five minutes. I got quite accostomed to do that now. I take six classes a day. I have drawn the sunflower with the pastels in my art class. It's going to be close to done. There are many art projects in the art class. All of them are interesting for me to see. The football season was over and basketball games started after school, which means it's the band members' turn to play the instruments in the game again. The first term of the school will be over soon.

今日はアメリカでは私の誕生日でした。というのも日本とワシントン州には１７時間の時差があるため、日本では昨日１７歳になりました。私のホストファミリーと1stホストファミリーの方々からプレゼントをいただきました。そしてホストファミリーの方に魚介類(シーフード)のレストランに連れて行っていただきました。帆立貝や魚のフライをいただきました。とても美味しかったです。お食事の後は散歩をして、たくさんのガンを見ました。写真を撮ったので何枚か載せておきます。素敵な１７回目の誕生日になりました。この一年充実させたいです。

Today is my birthday in America; I mean the time difference between Japan and Washington is seventeen hours, so I became 17 years old yesterday in Japan. My host family and my 1st host family gave me a birthday present. And we went to the seafood restaurant for big lunch with my host family. I had scallops and fried fish. It was very delicious. We took a walk after we came back home from the lunch. I could see lots of geese there. I took some pictures of the geese and I put some of those on this blog. It was such a nice 17th birthday. I want this year to be full of good experiences.

明けましておめでとうございます。昨年は大変お世話になりました。

２００９年はあっという間でした。ここの新年はクリスマスに比べ、とても静かなものだったように思います。しかしアメリカの新年も楽しむことができました。大みそかの３１日には催し物を見に繁華街の方へ行き、日本太鼓やゴスペル、アイルランド音楽(ダンス)を楽しみました。その日はかなりの雪が降っていて街全体が真っ白でした。家に戻ってからはニューヨークで行われている音楽チャンネルを見て、新年を待ち構えていました。そして日本に一足遅れ新年を迎えました。

今年もよろしくお願いします。

A HAPPY NEW YEAR "2010"!!! I really appreciate your kindness last year.

I felt 2009 passed very fast. The New Year was much quieter than Christmas here. However I enjoyed the New Year in America. I went downtown with my host mother to watch some shows. We enjoyed Japanese drums, gospel music, Irish music band and so on. It was snowing hard there, which made everywhere white. After we came back home, we watched the music channel at New York on TV, and we were awaiting the New Year. We finally got the New Year little later than Japan.

I hope to see more of you all this year.

日本語のクリスマスカードをいただきました!!
I got a Christmas card which was written in Japanese!!

2ndホストファミリーの方からのプレゼントです。きれいなラッピングペーパーとリボンで包まれていました。This is a Chrismas present from my 2nd host family.　It was wrapt with pretty paper and ribbon.

クリスマスイブにホストファミリーのお家でクリスマスパーティーをしました。ホストマザーのご家族３０人ほども集まりました。とても楽しかったです。みんなでお昼の２：３０から夜まで食べ続けていました。朝には私の2ndホストファミリーの方が私にクリスマスプレゼントを持って来てくださいました。驚いたのと、久々にホストファミリーの方に会え、プレゼントをいただき、とても嬉しかったです。私の(今の) ホストファミリーの方々からはブーツやクリスマスグッズなどをいただきました。ブーツは毎日履いていて、寒い冬に大活躍しています。私のホストマザーは息子さんから任天堂"Wii"をもらい、今も遊んでいます。
We had a big Christmas party at my host family's house on Christmas Eve. About thirty people; host mother's family gather at the party. It was a lot of fun. We kept eating food from 2:30p.m. to the night. My second host family who I stayed with before I came here, came to my host family's house to give me a Christmas present in the morning. It was surprise and I was really glad to meet them again and get a present,which was a jacket!! My host family gave me a pair of boots and many Christmas staff. I have worn the boots everyday. It has been my helper for the cold. My host mother got the "Wii"(it's the Nintendo game) from her sons. She is playing it now.

Florida tour

１２月８日から１４日までフロリダツアーに行きました。毎日ハードスケジュールで今まで経験したことのないたくさんのことができました。ワシントン州から(ツアーに来たの)は私だけだったので、それまで会ったことのないたくさんの派遣生に会うことができました。

１日目、２日目、３日目はディズニーワールドとハリウッドスタジオに行きました。たくさんのアトラクションに乗ったり、ディズニーキャラクターと写真を撮ったりしました。

４日目は５，６時間かけ私たちが２日間泊まる予定の島までカヌーを漕ぎました。腕が痛くなるほどでしたが、楽しかったです。カヌーを漕いでいる間にイルカを見つけることもできました。島に着いた後は自分たちでテントを張り、２日間テントで寝ました。島では海の生き物を探したり、泳いだり、食事はすべて外で食べました。島は虫だらけでみんなたくさん虫に刺されました。今も虫に刺された跡がたくさん残っています…。島ではとてもきれいな景色が見られ、またとても良い天気でした。島には生活するためのものはなく、家も水道も明かりもトイレも何もありませんでした。そんな中での滞在は大変でしたが、とてもいい経験になったと思っています。私たちは２日間シャワーを浴びることができなかったので、キャンプからホテルへ戻るとみんなシャワーに直行しました。その後はダウンタウンの方へ行き、買い物などし、夜にはピザを食べました。次の日は家に戻るためとても早く起き、空港に行きました。みんな私より早い時間の飛行機で先に帰ってしまったので私は５時間以上空港でひとりで過ごしました。ホストファミリーのお家には夜１１：３０ごろ着いたのでとても長い一日でした。私はフロリダでとてもいい時間を過ごし、たくさんの思い出ができました。

We went on the Florida tour for going to Disney World and camping from December 8th to 14th.We had hard schedules everyday and we could do many things which we have never done before. The person who is from Washington, is only me, which means I met many exchange people who I have never seen before.

The first day, the 2nd day and the 3rd day we went to Disney World and Hollywood studio. We rode on many attractions and took pictures with Disney characters.

The 4th day we canoed for 5 to 6 hours to the island where we were going to stay for two days.It hurt my arms but I enjoyed conoeing.We found some dolphins when we were canoeing.After we arrived at the island ,We pitched tents ourselves and slept in the tents.We looked for sea creatures, swam, had every meal outside in the island.We were bitten by bugs because there were lots of bugs there.I still have many marks which are bug's bites. There was a really nice view and the weather was nice in the island.The island doesn't have anything for living,which means we had no house,no waterworks,no lights,no bathroom and so on. It made us hard to stay there, but I think that it was a great experience for us.All of us went directly to the shower after we came back to the hotel from camping because we couldn't shower for two days. After that we went to the downtown and shopping and had pizza for dinner.The next day we got up very early and we went to the airport to come back home. Everyone else left from Florida earlier than me, so I was waiting for about more than five hours myself at the airport. I came back to my host family's house at 11:30p.m. It was a long day.I spent a great time and made memories at Florida.

夜にはテレビでイエローストーンを見ました。とてもきれいでした。
I stayed home all day long , so I studied U.S. History .
I watched "Yallowstone" on TV tonight . It was so pretty .

アメリカの３Ｄのアニメで、かわいい映画でした。
I went to see the movie with my host family and their grandson .

今夜はフットボールの試合のマーチングショーで３曲演奏しました。

今日の陶芸の時間に粘土で服を汚したので帰って洗うのが大変でした。

英語クラスの宿題で英単語を３８４語紙に書き写すのにとても時間がかかりました。

I blotted my sweat shirt with clay spots , so I tried washing it after I came back home .

It was hard to wash out . And then I copied 384 words of English from an English book for my assignment .It took me a lot of time to do .

今朝はマーチングバンドメンバーでニュース番組で演奏するためニュース放送局に行く予定だったので、３：３０に起きました。都心にある放送局までスクールバスで行きました。ニュースキャスターを上の階から見ることができました。とてもいい経験になり、よかったです。

また放課後にはフットボールの試合でマーチングショーもありました。今日はマーチングバンドにとってとても忙しい一日だったと思います。

I got up at about 3:30 because I was going to go the newsroom with the marching band member to play on the news this morning .We went the newsroom which is in downtown , by school

bus .We could see some anchor men from upstairs . It's so nice experience for me .

We also played the marching show at a football game after school .

I think that today was a very hard day for the marching band people.

３日間(今のホストファミリーの用事で)初めのホストファミリーのお家に行きました。

朝、家の近くはおそらく０℃くらいでとても寒かったです。久々にホストファミリーに会うことができてよかったです。

I have stayed at the first host family's house for 3 days .

The place which is near the house, was so cold .I think it was about 32℉　in the morning .

I was happy to meet them .

今日の夕食はお皿の上にいろんな種類の野菜がのり、カラフルでとてもきれいでした。私のお気に入りの料理のひとつです。

I was back to the now host family's house after school .

Today's dinner was very pretty because we put many kind of vegetables on the dish , so it was colorful. It's one of my favorite food .

展示館でいろいろな展示品を見て、夕食には中華料理を食べました。
たくさんの動物も見ることができました。

ホストマザーが夕食に茄子の味噌焼きを作ってくれました。

今日は初めて陶芸の授業を受けました。
放課後はマーチングバンドの練習がありました。練習後にはカウンセラーの方にお迎えに来てもらい、夕食に中華料理のレストランに連れて行ってもらいました。それからマーチングショーで履く黒靴下を買いに行きました。
I took "Ceramic class" first time today.
We practiced in the maching band after school.
After the band practice , my counselor picked up me and took me to the Chinese restaurant
to have dinner. And then we went to the store to buy black socks which I will put on at the marching show.

放課後、ホストマザーのお店に行きました。
夕食にはハンバーガーを食べました。アメリカに来てから初めてお店のハンバーガーを食べましたが、とても美味しかったです。
I went to my host mother's store after school .
I ate a hamberger which was cooked in the restaurant, first time since I came here.It was very good.

２日間カウンセラーの方とアイダホにあるコーダレーン湖の近くのLuther Havenキャンプ場にロータリーキャンプに行きました。そこで各国からからの交換留学生に会うことができました。

たくさんの人と話したり、写真を撮ったりしてとても良い時間を過ごすことができました。

またグループを作ってプレゼンテーションもしました。私は折り紙を紹介しました。他のグループはダンスをしたり歌を歌ったりしていて、とても面白かったです。

夜には空一面の星を見ることができました。それにはとても驚き、感動しました。

I have been to the rotary camp which is near Coeur d'Alene, Idaho, at Camp Luther Haven with my counselor for two days .

I could see many exchange students from foreign countries there.

I taked with many people and took pictures with them , so I spent

very nice time . We also did presentations in groups . I presented about origami .Other groups were dancing and singing and so on . These were very interesting for us .

We could see a very pretty night view of the stars because there were stars everywhere.These are so amazing and moved me .
